Retinoblastoma - a malignant tumor of the retina. This tumor occurs in the first months or first years of life. This tumor is hereditary. A quarter of all breast cancers occur in both eyes at once.


Retinoblastoma develops from embryonic remnants kletokosetchatki. The tumor grows rapidly, and after a few months, takes up the entire eye socket. Quickly there is blindness. Treatment of retinoblastoma.

The tumor was removed as soon as possible at an earlier date. Applies even cryotherapy - freezing the tumor at very low temperatures, photocoagulation of the tumor site, chemotherapy and combination therapy.
