Fractures of the forearm bones


Fractures of the forearm bones are found in 10-25% of all fractures of the extremities. Most often this localization fractures occur in children. There are fractures:

fractures of the upper third of the forearm, which are intraarticular fractures

fractures of the middle third of the forearm (shaft), among which there are fractures of one or both forearm bones

fractures of the lower third of the forearm, which include fracture of the lower (distal) part of the radius.

Fracture of the olecranon
Fracture of the coronoid process of ulna
Fracture of the head and neck of the radius
Dislocation of radial head
Fractures of the middle third of the forearm bones
